Client Evening a Great Success

March 2010

The evening began with a presentation from our very own vet Richard Morris who gave us all a wonderful account of his charity work with Help In Suffering, in Jaipur, India. From neutering and treating street dogs, to improving the welfare of working camels and elephants. His talk was accompanied by photographs and a short film that gave you a real insight into the world of the people and animals living in Jaipur.

During a short break the raffle was drawn, before the evening commenced with a talk from Intervet vet Alison Banwell on caring for our senior pets. It was a very informative talk covering many topics from weight management to looking after a diabetic pet. After Alisons talk had concluded the buffet arrived giving clients the opportunity to chat to vets and nurses form the surgery. The evening was a great success and we would again like to thank everyone that bought raffle tickets and made kind donations for Help In Suffering.
