Vets Now On Call service

Providing the best care to our clients at all times is our priority and in order to ensure this we have recently reviewed our Out of Hours policy. After careful consideration we have decided to change the way we provide care for your pet at night or the weekend. We have now partnered with partnering with a veterinary organisation called Vets Now Ltd who specialise in providing Out of Hours accident and emergency care. Vets Now are already well established in our local area and operate from Haygate Veterinary Centre in Wellington which is easily accessed from Junction 7 of the M54.

We believe that working with Vets Now will allow us to raise the quality of service that we provide to you and your pet. The clinic is fully staffed by vets and nurses who only work out of hours and therefore they are fresh and ready to deal with emergencies, telephone advice and monitoring of in-patients at night, weekends or on public holidays. Vets Now have suggested that you think of them as the pet equivalent of the Accident and Emergency department of a hospital!.

Using the Vets Now service is simple and straight forward. If you require assistance simply do the same as you are doing now. Call us on 01743 360614 and listen to the message which will give you the emergency contact number. When you call Vets Now their trained Receptionists, Veterinary Nurses or Surgeons will be waiting to help. They will discuss your concerns for your pet and if required you will be advised to attend the clinic where you will be seen by the emergency team.

Vets Now will be providing Out of Hours cover from:

Monday 7pm – Tuesday 8.15 am
Tuesday 7pm – Wednesday 8.15 am
Wednesday 7pm – Thursday 8.15 am
Thursday 7pm – Friday 8.15 am
Friday 7pm – Saturday 8.30 am
Saturday 12 pm – Monday 8.15 am

And all public holidays

Copthorne Veterinary Clinic is also improving its service to you by providing additional weekend surgery times at Copthorne Road for the treatment of sick and injured pets.

Saturday - 9am - 11 am
                 4pm - 5pm

Sunday - 9am-10am
